Event Hosting
Mellow Mug Cafe offers a cozy, welcoming space for gatherings of all kinds — from intimate meetings to creative celebrations. Located in the historic Bailey’s Building in downtown Rochester, our cafe provides a relaxed atmosphere with comfortable seating, open floor space, and a warm, community-focused vibe.
Our space is ideal for art shows, meetings, workshops, baby showers, receptions, birthday celebrations, live music, and more. Whether you’re hosting something casual or meaningful, Mellow Mug is a space where people can connect, create, and feel at home.
Roots Yoga offers free community yoga on Saturday's in our building. It starts at 8AM to 9AM and mats provided. You are welcome to bring your own.

Host Your Event
Our space comfortably accommodates small to medium-sized gatherings. Capacity varies depending on the event setup, seating needs, and whether tables, open floor space, or performance areas are required. Please include your estimated guest count when submitting your inquiry so we can confirm the best layout for your event.
During Open Hours
Events hosted during regular business hours take place alongside normal cafe operations. This option works well for casual gatherings, meetings, art shows, and community events where guests can enjoy the cafe as usual.
After Hours Events
For a more private experience, Mellow Mug is available for after-hours bookings. After-hours events offer exclusive use of the space and flexible setup options.
For after-hours events, you may choose to:

• Host your event without cafe service
